I worked as an actor at the London Bridge Experience from November 2023 to March 2024. During this time I performed as two characters, the Keeper of the Heads and Jack the Ripper. This part-time position was simultaneous to other work I had in London while living in Guildford.

I enjoyed the challenge of keeping the script fresh throughout the shift and appreciated the flexibility we were given to make the roles our own. Some memorable days included performing for class on a school trip and a group of German tourists who used Google Translate to follow along with the story.

“Der Eingang befindet sich unter der Brücke. Die Schauspieler waren während des gesamten Erlebnisses sehr realistisch und lieferten viele detaillierte Informationen zur Geschichte der Brücke und der näheren Umgebung. Wir haben uns ein paar Mal erschrocken, hat Spaß gemacht. Definitiv nichts für ängstliche Personen. Drinnen ist das Fotografieren verboten, die beiden Bilder sind aus dem Wartebereich.”
